Koffie is looking for motivated individual to join our team as Cook/Kitchen Manager for our brunch service. Located in the downtown business district, this position is for mornings, approximately 30 hrs/wk and may include occasional weekend shifts. We are a small, independent, 17 seat cafe (non-ventilated kitchen)and pride ourselves on providing our customers with consistently good food and service.
We're looking for someone who has experience as a line cook, is organized and reliable, who works well under pressure and who is interested in taking on additional responsibilities including management of a small kitchen team. Pay range is $21-$24/hr depending on experience. Tips are shared equally among all staff.
Duties Include
- Working the line during service
- Keeping the line stocked and managing prep
- Following standardized recipes
- Maintaining a clean and organized kitchen
- Cleaning and dishwashing — shared responsibility
- Communicating clearly and professionally and helping to maintain a respectful working environment
