We are currently seeking an experienced and results-driven Fixed Operations Manager to join our leadership team.
As the Fixed Operations Manager, you will oversee the performance and day-to-day operations of our Service Department, ensuring efficiency, profitability, and an exceptional customer experience. This position is ideal for a strong leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys coaching and developing teams, and is passionate about operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of the Service Department to ensure efficiency, productivity, and profitability
- Lead, coach, and support team members to achieve performance goals and maintain a positive workplace culture
- Develop and implement strategies to increase service sales while improving customer satisfaction and retention
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify opportunities for growth and operational improvements
- Manage departmental budgets, expenses, and financial reporting to support business objectives
- Optimize workflow processes and scheduling to improve service delivery and reduce customer wait times
- Ensure compliance with company policies, manufacturer requirements, warranty procedures, and industry regulations
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, vendors, manufacturers, and internal stakeholders
- Address customer concerns and escalated issues in a professional and timely manner
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and implement process enhancements across fixed operations
- Promote a culture focused on teamwork, accountability, safety, and customer service excellence
- Perform other duties as required to support overall dealership operations
Skills & Experience
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate, develop, and manage high-performing teams
- Strong organizational, planning, and multitasking abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused approach
- Strong analytical skills with experience interpreting financial reports and operational data
- Knowledge of automotive service operations, parts management, warranty processes, and industry best practices
- Experience managing budgets, controlling expenses, and driving departmental profitability
- Proficiency with dealership management systems (DMS) and other industry-related software
- Ability to make sound business decisions in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Qualifications & Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Post-secondary education in Business Administration, Automotive Management, or a related field is considered an asset
- Minimum of 2 years of leadership experience within automotive fixed operations, service management, or parts management
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License with a clean driving record
- Certificate of Conduct
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing, twisting, and lifting, for extended periods
Hours of work: Monday-Friday, 7:30am-4:30pm
