We are a private club with a strong focus on cleanliness, presentation, and member satisfaction. We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking individual to join our team as Building Custodian. This is a hands-on position ideal for someone who takes pride in their work, is proactive, and enjoys variety in their daily responsibilities.
Job Responsibilities:
General Building Maintenance:
- Touch-up painting
- Basic repairs & handyman jobs
- Furniture adjustments
- Maintain outdoor areas as needed
- Sweep/shovel pathways
- Seasonal upkeep (salt walkways in winter, etc.)
Cleaning & Sanitation:
- Vacuum or mop common areas and offices
- Clean windows, restrooms & common areas
- Refill supplies (toilet paper, paper towels, soap dispensers)
- Empty garbage bins and replace liners
Other Duties:
- Safety & compliance
- Ensure all areas of the facility are clean, safe, and presentable at all times
- Inventory management
- Support event setup and takedown when needed
- other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Prior experience with general building maintenance & repair is preferred
- Able to perform physical work, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Self-motivated, dependable, and able to work independently
- Strong attention to detail
Pay: $17.00-$20.00 per hour
