Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Staff Pharmacist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide expert medication management, patient care, and support staff in a clinical setting. The Staff Pharmacist will provide patient care while fostering a compassionate environment for patients of all ages.
We are a busy pharmacy located in beautiful northern Alberta. Our location provides a unique outlook on health which encompasses whole health including prescription medication along with herbal and vitamin supplementation.
Duties
- Dispense prescription medications accurately according to physicians' orders
- Provide medication counseling and education to patients and their families
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop effective treatment plans
- Monitor patient responses to medications and adjust therapy as needed
- Maintain detailed documentation of medication dispensing and patient interaction
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings focused on patient care improvement
Experience
- Valid pharmacist license with current registration in the state of practice
- Proven experience in patient care, demonstrating excellent communication skills and compassion
