Duties
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various makes and models of vehicles.
- Diagnose mechanical issues using schematics and technical manuals.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for repairs and assembly tasks.
- Conduct thorough inspections to identify potential problems before they escalate.
- Assist in heavy lifting and moving of automotive parts as necessary.
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their vehicle's needs.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of repairs.
Skills
- Proven experience as an Automotive Technician or Mechanic, preferably with dealership experience.
- Strong mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting skills related to automotive systems.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during repair processes.
- Familiarity with automotive repair techniques, including welding when necessary.
- Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to explain technical information clearly to clients.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
