Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing ingredients, cooking menu items, and ensuring all food served meets our high standards of quality and safety. Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble ingredients for menu items, including chopping, slicing, and measuring
- Cook dishes according to recipes and presentation standards
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as marinating, portioning, and plating
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and workstations
- Follow food safety guidelines and proper handling procedures at all times
- Ensure timely delivery of orders to meet service expectations
- Support other kitchen staff during busy periods to ensure smooth operations
- Adhere to restaurant policies regarding serving and food handling
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments preferred but not required
- Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety standards
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and evenings as needed
- Basic understanding of kitchen safety protocols and proper food handling practices
Pay: $18.00-$24.00 per hour
