Sukha Yoga is seeking skilled, thoughtful, and inspiring Reformer Pilates Instructors to join our growing movement and wellness community. Our Reformer Pilates program blends the traditional principles of Pilates with contemporary research and intelligent movement, offering a full-body experience that builds strength, stability, mobility, and awareness.
We are looking for instructors who value quality of movement, connection, and sustainability—both in practice and in teaching. We are currently looking for availability to teach on Thursday & Friday evenings, and Sunday mornings.

Position Overview:
As a key member of the Sukha Yoga teaching team, Pilates Instructors lead engaging group Reformer & Mat Pilates classes and private sessions that are inclusive, safe, and thoughtfully programmed. Instructors are expected to meet students where they are, offering clear instruction, creative variations, and a supportive presence that encourages confidence and growth.
Classes at Sukha are designed to work smarter, not harder—isolating small muscle groups, recruiting deep core stabilizers, and supporting long-term physical well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach high-quality Reformer Pilates group classes and private sessions
- Deliver clear, precise cueing with a strong focus on alignment, breath, and control
- Offer appropriate modifications and progressions to support a wide range of abilities
- Create a welcoming, calm, and encouraging environment for all students
- Arrive prepared, on time, and fully present for every class and session
- Maintain professionalism and consistency in teaching standards
- Collaborate with fellow instructors and studio staff to support a cohesive community
- Participate in team meetings, trainings, and studio initiatives as needed
- Act as a positive ambassador for Sukha Yoga and our movement philosophy
Skills & Qualifications:
- Classical and/or Contemporary Pilates certification (Reformer certification required)
- Experience teaching group classes and/or private sessions preferred
- Strong understanding of functional movement, core stabilization, and injury awareness
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable, responsible, and self-motivated
- Passion for movement, wellness, and continued learning
- Ability to teach with both confidence and compassion
Nice to Have:
- Experience working with diverse bodies and varying levels of ability
- Background in anatomy-informed or rehabilitative movement
- Interest in ongoing education and skill development
- Desire to contribute to community-building within the studio
