About the Role:
We are currently seeking a compassionate, experienced Registered Social Worker (RSW) with a strong clinical background in psychotherapy to work with individuals who have been involved in motor vehicle accidents (MVAs). This role focuses on helping clients navigate the emotional, psychological, and practical challenges that arise after traumatic accidents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct initial intake assessments for new clients, evaluate their needs and presenting concerns, and recommend appropriate services and therapists based on clinical needs, treatment goals, and available programs
- Provide individual (virtual and in-person) psychotherapy sessions to clients recovering from MVAs
- Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments
- Provide social work services, including psychosocial support, resource navigation, community referrals, advocacy, and assistance accessing appropriate community programs and supports.
- Develop and implement tailored treatment plans
- Maintain thorough clinical documentation in compliance with regulatory standards
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams as needed
- Support clients in navigating insurance and rehabilitation systems
Qualifications:
- Registered and in good standing with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers
- Authorized to perform the controlled act of psychotherapy
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience providing psychotherapy, with a focus on trauma or MVA-related cases
- Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation skills
- Experience working with third-party insurers and familiarity with HCAI is considered an asset
- Arabic Speaking is considered an asset.
