The Education Program Coordinator is responsible for supporting the development and execution of educational programs, webinars and accreditation programs. This role includes the development and delivery of online educational content, as well as supporting accreditation services.
Responsibilities:
· Organize and support educational events, workshops and conferences.
· Support the Continuing Professional Development Accreditation Program for all learning and development activities, the annual scientific meeting and associated workshops and conferences.
· Maintain records and prepare reports on program outcomes and progress.
· Administer and maintain a new online Learning Management System.
· Accreditation communications and support for working groups.
Duties:
Continuing Development Program
· Collaboratively help develop educational sessions, materials, resources and course content which incorporate adult learning theory, principles and methods.
· Liaise with CAR staff to ensure efficient and timely translation and layout of all education material.
· Assist in ensuring that educational programs meet accreditation standards set by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.
· Support the Annual Scientific Meeting program development.
· Other support as required.
Learning Management System (LMS) Administration
· Support the implementation of a new Learning Management System, ensuring it is set up correctly and that the content meets the organization’s needs.
· Administer and maintain the LMS, ensuring it is up-to-date and functioning effectively.
· Ensure that documentation provided for educational activities is provided in a timely manner.
· Maintain records and prepare reports on program outcomes and progress.
Accreditation Working Group Support
· Support accreditation working groups by organizing meetings, preparing agendas, and taking minutes.
· Liaise with medical community to enlist the participation of external stakeholders in projects and initiatives.
· Create, update and revise materials including standards and questionnaires.
· Assist with administrative support including follow-up on action items
Qualifications and Requirements:
- English written and oral communication skills. An understanding of French.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Technical skills, including proficiency with various digital platforms. Experience with learning management systems and website management.
- A proven record of initiative.
- Experience in content creation, including the development of educational, promotional, or technical materials.
- Ability to quickly understand complex topics and effectively compose technical content related to medical imaging.
Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in online education, administrative support, or related program development.
- Bachelor’s degree or college diploma in instructional design, project management or a related field of study.
- Knowledge of Absorb or LearnDash software would be considered an advantage.
- Based in the Ottawa area.

Pay: $50,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
