The Health and Safety Administrator will be the key person on a national level that works with managers, 3rd party companies and agencies, consultants, payroll, human resources for the coordination of return to work programs, claims management and general administration of the health and safety program. The Health and Safety Administrator will succeed if they are friendly, collaborative, organized, and efficient with high volumes of administration in a hectic fast-paced environment. Someone who enjoys being the key contact while also wanting to be the keeper of documentation and reporting as it relates to safety, training, metrics, audits, workplace inspections, injury, and third party agencies.

- Champion the safety management program
- Maintain productive working relationships on a national level with internal customers and with 3rd parties
- Efficiently and accurately meet daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly deadlines within a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date department information
- Prepare detailed, insightful reports and compile statistics for management
A desire to improve your knowledge and experience within this field will be vital to your success. Your desire should translate into a willingness to begin working towards a certification in health and safety. You possess strong customer service, collaboration and excellent written and oral communication which will benefit you in maintaining contact with the necessary internal and external parties to support and at times facilitate the follow through on all necessary processes to meet internal and external policies, procedures and compliance.
Key Job Activities:
- Support all employees in the business regarding health and safety policies, procedures, awareness, and information
- Promote the well-being of employees in the workplace
- Handle and administer Worker’s Compensation claims management
- Prepare and coordinate Gradual Return to Work Plans
- Liaise with auto and property carriers to ensure timely and efficient processing of claims
- Maintain the integrity of the Health and Safety Training database
- Create, update, maintain, and report metrics, audits, workplace inspections, and injury information
