Barber Collins Security is looking for a full time Security Guard. Candidates will be working shifts in Hanover, ON.
It is a mandatory requirement that candidates have their own personal vehicle.
Shifts:
Week 1 (32 hours): Friday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 3 pm to 11 pm
Week 2 (40 hours): Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Wednesday and Thursday from 3 pm to 11 pm
- Every other weekend
- Evening shift
- These hours are NOT negotiable and both weeks must be worked
Responsibilities
- Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure safety and security.
- Conduct regular inspections of premises and report any suspicious activities.
- Utilize surveillance equipment, including CCTV, to monitor activities.
- Provide excellent customer service while interacting with clients and visitors.
- Prepare detailed reports on incidents, observations, and activities.
Requirements
- Previous experience in security is an asset.
- Must have a valid Ontario Security Guard License.
- Must live within 40 minutes of Hanover, ON.
- Strong observational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to remain calm and make decisions under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Familiarity with surveillance systems and loss prevention techniques is preferred.

Pay: $20.25 per hour
