Job Summary
Skypeace Production Inc. is seeking a confident and enthusiastic News Reporter / Journalist to join our team for an exciting new TV show launching soon in the Surrey and Vancouver area.
The ideal candidate is passionate about storytelling, enjoys meeting people, and is comfortable reporting on camera. You will cover local news, community events, business stories, entertainment, and cultural topics within the Lower Mainland.
Responsibilities
- Research and report on local news and community stories.
- Conduct interviews with business owners, community leaders, artists, and the public.
- Present news segments confidently on camera.
- Attend events and create engaging field reports.
- Work closely with the production team to develop television content.
- Maintain professionalism while representing the TV show in the community.
Qualifications
- Fluent in Punjabi and Hindi (required).
- Excellent verbal communication and interviewing skills.
- Comfortable speaking on camera.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Valid BC driver's licence and reliable transportation are considered an asset.
- Previous experience in journalism, broadcasting, reporting, media, or content creation is preferred but not required.
