Duties
- Collaborate with clients to understand their tattoo ideas, offering expert guidance on design, placement, and color options
- Prepare skin for tattooing by cleaning, sterilizing equipment, and adhering to strict sanitation protocols
- Use specialized tattooing equipment to create detailed, high-quality artwork with precision and consistency
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace in compliance with health and safety regulations
- Provide excellent guest services by ensuring clients feel comfortable, informed, and cared for throughout their experience
- Educate clients on aftercare procedures to ensure proper healing of their tattoos
- Promote studio services including body waxing, eyelash extensions, makeup application, nail care, and retail products through friendly upselling and product demos
Experience
- Proven experience as a professional tattoo artist with a strong portfolio showcasing diverse styles and techniques
- Excellent communication skills to effectively consult with clients and understand their vision
- Knowledge of sanitation standards and safety protocols specific to tattooing environments
- Background in customer service, retail sales, or hospitality is highly desirable
- Ability to handle front desk responsibilities such as scheduling appointments and managing client records
- Skills in additional beauty or body art services like hair styling, eyelash extensions, or nail care are a plus
- Demonstrated ability to upsell products or services that enhance client satisfaction and studio revenue
