About This Opportunity
This full-time position requires flexibility, with a range of 10-15+ coaching hours per week and 10-15+ hours of paid tasks such as writing programs, answering emails, member onboarding tasks, pre-post shift set up, etc. The ideal candidate is available to cover shifts as needed, attend weekly team meetings, and support our growing fitness community.

Our Ideal Candidate
Ideal candidates have some experience as a fitness coach, experience with group training is ideal. The ideal candidate must be able to demonstrate a proven track record of teamwork, customer service, and strong client results. The requirements listed below represent the knowledge, skill and ability required to succeed in this position.
Essential Roles & Responsibilities
We are looking for not just a part-time coach, but also someone who can support us with some administrative work. You will be running small group personal training sessions with the potential to get some 1:1 clients. While also answering emails and phone calls, and supporting members with scheduling.
In addition to the hours on the floor, candidates will be expected to do some work included in a monthly stipend, which includes but is not limited to:
- Attending weekly meetings (Tuesday afternoon)
- Writing programs
- Keep up with continuing education standards
- Light cleaning tasks
- Filling out a weekly scorecard
- Completing member on-boarding tasks
- Member attendance report
- Peer reviews
- Strategy Sessions with Members
- Monthly 1:1 meetings with manager
- Attending the odd event (Community BBQ, Member Award Ceremony, Photo-shoot, Charity Workout, etc.)
Skills
- Personal Training Credentials, with minimum 1 year experience is ideal but not required
- First Aid & CPR Certified (required)
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Detail-oriented & highly dependable
