Overview:
We are seeking a Service Advisor to join our team at Douglas Square Auto Service. As a Service Advisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction by providing exceptional service and support. This position requires sales skills, basic automotive repair knowledge, and excellent customer service abilities.
Responsibilities:
- Schedule appointments through work management program. (Will train)
- Greet customers and assist them with their service needs
- Listen to customer concerns and accurately document them
- Provide estimates for repairs and services
- Sell additional services or repairs.
- Communicate with technicians to ensure timely completion of repairs
- Communicate with customers regarding the status of their vehicle
- Handle transactions and process payments
Requirements:
- Experience in sales or customer service.
- Knowledge of automotive repair processes and terminology (will train)
- Ability to effectively communicate technical information to customers
- Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Mechanical knowledge
