Don Ryan & Co. Inc. is hiring an experienced HVAC Technician to service, maintain, diagnose, and repair residential heating and cooling equipment.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain furnaces, air conditioners, boilers, thermostats, and related HVAC equipment.
- Perform furnace maintenance cleanings, A/C maintenance, inspections, and service calls.
- Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, airflow, ignition, gas, and refrigeration-related issues.
- Explain findings clearly to customers and recommend proper repairs or maintenance.
- Complete service work orders accurately with model/serial numbers, diagnosis, parts used, and customer notes.
- Maintain a clean, professional work area and company vehicle.
- Follow all safety procedures, codes, and company standards.
Requirements
- HVAC service experience preferred.
- G2 gas licence required; G3 considered depending on experience.
- 313D or 313A refrigeration licence is an asset.
- Strong diagnostic and customer service skills.
- Valid Ontario driver’s licence.
- Ability to work independently and represent the company professionally.
- Must be reliable, organized, and detail-oriented.
Assets
- Experience with Bryant, Keeprite, Luxaire, Continental, Goodman, Lennox, or similar equipment.
- Boiler and hydronic heating experience.
- Sheet metal or installation experience.
- ServiceTitan, QuickBooks, Google Calendar, or digital work order experience.
Compensation
Competitive pay based on experience, licensing, and skill level.
