Fire Sprinkler Coordinator – Key Duties and Responsibilities
1. Project Coordination & Scheduling
- Coordinate all fire sprinkler system installation and maintenance activities with internal teams, contractors, and project managers.
- Assist and maintain project schedules, ensuring work aligns with overall construction or maintenance timelines.
- Track progress and report on milestones, delays, and completion status.
2. Design & Documentation Support
- Assist in preparing shop drawings, material submittals, and as-built documentation.
- Maintain accurate project files, permits, and inspection reports.
3. Compliance & Quality Assurance
- Coordinate required inspections, testing, and approvals with local authorities (AHJs).
- Support safety audits and implement corrective actions when necessary.
4. Communication & Liaison
- Act as the main point of contact between the fire protection contractor, general contractor, site management, and relevant stakeholders.
- Communicate effectively with field teams to resolve issues related to design, installation, or inspections.
- Provide updates to management and clients on project progress and compliance status.
5. Material & Resource Coordination
- Assist procurement of fire sprinkler materials and equipment in coordination with purchasing and logistics teams.
6. Field Support
- Support troubleshooting and resolve on-site issues during installation or testing.
- Coordinate with other trades to prevent conflicts and ensure smooth workflow.
7. Administrative Duties
- Maintain detailed project documentation, inspection reports, and compliance records.
- Assist with project budgeting, cost tracking, and change order documentation.
- Support the close-out process, ensuring all final reports, drawings, and certifications are complete.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00-$30.00 per hour
