Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Bartender to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests. This role involves preparing and serving beverages, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring guests have an enjoyable experience in a fast-paced environment. Previous restaurant or food industry experience is preferred, along with familiarity with POS systems and food safety standards.
Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests according to standard recipes and customer preferences
- Use POS systems such as Micros POS for order processing and cashiering functions
- Ensure all drinks are served in compliance with food safety and handling regulations
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and work surfaces
- Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately during shifts
- Engage with guests to provide excellent customer service and address any inquiries or concerns
- Restock bar supplies as needed and assist in inventory management
- Follow all food safety protocols and responsible alcohol service guidelines
Skills
- Proven experience in a restaurant or food service environment, especially in bartending roles
- Strong knowledge of POS systems like Micros POS and cash handling procedures
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests
- Effective time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy periods
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and measurement of ingredients
- Knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service practices
- Ability to serve drinks quickly while maintaining quality standards
- Hospitality-oriented attitude with a personable demeanor and teamwork mindset
