Join our Corporate Strategy team as a Strategic Research and Reporting Specialist. In this role, you will conduct high-quality research, analyse trends, inform planning, evaluate performance, and deliver strategic reporting, to strengthen the business acumen across SGI. You’ll transform data into actionable intelligence and help the organisation stay future-focused in a rapidly changing landscape. You will also support the implementation of a benefits measurement framework to track, measure and communicate the value realized from strategic program.
What we are looking for:
- Demonstrated experience in performance monitoring and reporting, and knowledge of balanced scorecard principles and practices
- Demonstrated experience developing and/or operationalizing benefits realization frameworks. Demonstrated experience conducting research, synthesizing findings, and preparing impactful reports for senior leadership.
- Proficient in strategic planning principles and methodologies, with experience in the insurance industry preferably.
- Experienced in conducting competitor analysis and market intelligence.
- Strong analytical thinking and the ability to distill complex information into clear narratives.
- Exceptional ability to craft clear, concise, and audience-focused reports and presentations.
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite and the ability to analyze and visualize data effectively; Power BI proficiency considered a plus.
- Curiosity, adaptability, and a passion for continuous improvement.
- Leadership mindset - ready to leverage your skills to actively support SGI’s culture, expand your own learning, and help colleagues grow alongside you.
These skills and experience for this position are gained through completing a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field of study such as Business administration, Commerce or public policy with five years' experience in strategic planning and performance measurement.
