Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyperson Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in plumbing systems and be capable of handling a variety of plumbing tasks with precision and efficiency. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with other tradespeople.
Responsibilities
- Assemble and install plumbing systems according to blueprints and schematics.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on plumbing fixtures, pipes, and systems.
- Conduct inspections to identify issues or potential problems within plumbing systems.
- Collaborate with carpenters, HVAC technicians, and other trades to ensure seamless project execution.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various plumbing tasks.
- Weld pipes as necessary for specific installations or repairs.
- Ensure compliance with local building codes and safety regulations.
- Manage heavy lifting tasks associated with the installation of plumbing materials and fixtures.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Journeyperson Plumber or in a similar role within the plumbing industry.
- Strong understanding of basic math principles for measurements and calculations related to plumbing work.
- Familiarity with reading and interpreting schematics related to plumbing layouts and installations.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating excellent communication skills.
- Experience in building or construction environments is preferred, along with knowledge of HVAC systems as an added advantage.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $39.00-$45.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
