International Medical Graduate (IMG)/Foreign-Trained Physician – Preventative Health Analyst

Our Care Model
Lifespan has developed an innovative private-pay healthcare model where members are supported by a multi-disciplinary care team consisting of a Family Physician, Endocrinologist, Radiologist, Nurse Practitioner, Exercise Physiologist, Sonographer, and Dietician – all certified in their field of expertise.

Position Overview:
Lifespan Medical is seeking an international medical graduate with a minimum of 10 years’ clinical experience abroad to join our growing team in the role of Preventative Health Analyst. This individual will not be required to hold Canadian medical licensure, but must demonstrate strong competency in interpreting clinical data, especially in the context of preventative and longevity medicine.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and interpret blood work, diagnostic test results, and biomarker data.
- Aggregate and summarize patient data into structured reports for use in physician debriefs.
- Contribute to case discussions with licensed providers to support patient care planning.
- Support the clinic’s preventative health programs through evidence-based recommendations.
- Engage in other clinical or administrative activities aligned with experience and interests, such as performing mole-mapping and body composition scanning.
- Participate in ongoing training to build familiarity with clinic systems and operations.
Qualifications:
- Medical degree (MD or equivalent) from a recognized institution outside of Canada.
- A minimum of 10 years experience as a practicing physician in another country.
- Strong knowledge of clinical biomarkers and blood test interpretation, especially within the context of preventative or functional medicine.
- Excellent written and verbal English and ability to prepare patient-facing summaries.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to synthesize complex clinical data clearly and concisely.
- Proficiency with computers, clinical software, and electronic health records is an asset.
Additional Information:
- This role does not require licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia.
- This is a non-diagnostic role; responsibilities are focused on data aggregation and interpretation under the supervision of licensed clinicians.
