Ultimate Auto Protection is looking for an experienced automotive detailer who takes pride in precise, high-quality work and wants to build a long-term career in vehicle protection.
This position is ideal for someone who already has a strong foundation in professional detailing and is ready to expand their skills into paint correction, ceramic coating application, and paint protection film installation. You will begin by contributing to our detailing operations while receiving hands-on guidance and opportunities to develop into a skilled ceramic coating and PPF installer.
This is not an entry-level detailing position. We are looking for someone who understands professional detailing standards, works carefully and efficiently, and genuinely wants to master more advanced automotive protection services.
What You’ll Do
- Perform professional interior and exterior vehicle detailing
- Wash, decontaminate, clay, polish, and prepare vehicle surfaces
- Complete paint correction and machine polishing according to experience level
- Inspect vehicles and identify paint defects, contamination, and areas requiring additional attention
- Prepare vehicles and work areas for ceramic coating and PPF installation
- Learn and perform ceramic coating applications using proper preparation and curing procedures
- Develop skills in paint protection film installation, including surface preparation, film positioning, squeegee technique, trimming, and finishing
- Maintain clean, organized, and professional work bays
- Care for detailing tools, polishers, equipment, and installation materials
- Complete quality-control inspections before vehicles are returned to customers
- Follow company procedures for vehicle handling, documentation, and customer property
- Work collaboratively with the rest of the Ultimate Auto Protection team
What We’re Looking For
- Previous professional automotive detailing experience
- Experience with machine polishing and paint correction is strongly preferred
- Strong attention to detail and a high standard of workmanship
- A patient, steady, and methodical approach to hands-on work
- Ability to follow detailed processes and accept coaching
- Genuine interest in developing ceramic coating and PPF installation skills
- Reliable attendance and a professional attitude
- Ability to work independently while also contributing to a team
- Comfortable working on a variety of vehicles, including high-value and specialty vehicles
- Valid driver’s licence and a clean driving record
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform the physical duties associated with detailing
Previous ceramic coating or PPF experience is an asset, but it is not required. We are more interested in finding an experienced detailer with the right foundation, work ethic, patience, and desire to grow.
