Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our finance team. Duties
- Prepare, analyze, and review financial statements and reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- Lead internal audits and assist with external audit processes to verify financial integrity.
- Manage month-end and year-end closing activities efficiently and accurately.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring timely processing and reconciliation.
- Utilize accounting software to maintain detailed financial records and generate reports for management review.
- Conduct analysis of financial data to identify trends, variances, and potential risks.
- Implement risk management procedures to mitigate financial exposure and enhance internal controls.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning initiatives.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements related to financial services and accounting practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA certification is preferred.
- Proven experience in accounting within a corporate or financial services environment.
- Strong analysis skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data accurately.
- Extensive knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and regulations.
- Experience with auditing processes and conducting internal audits effectively.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms.
- Excellent risk management skills with the ability to identify vulnerabilities and implement safeguards.
- Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration across departments.
Pay: $85,000.00-$89,000.00 per year
