Best Brains is a leading academic enrichment franchise serving students ages 3–14 in Math, English, Abacus, and Coding. Our new South Surrey center is opening soon, and we're building our founding teaching team.
Position: Abacus Teacher (Part-Time/Full-Time)
Requirements:
- Certified in Abacus/mental math instruction (or willingness to complete Best Brains Abacus training)
- Strong foundation in mental math concepts
- Experience teaching or tutoring children ages 3–14 preferred
- Patience, energy, and strong classroom management skills
- Passion for building students' speed, focus, and confidence through mental math
Responsibilities:
- Deliver small-group and one-on-one Abacus instruction using the Best Brains curriculum
- Guide students through progressive levels of mental math mastery
- Assess student progress and provide feedback to parents
- Create an engaging, supportive learning environment
- Maintain accurate student records and progress reports
