Job Summary:
The Belanger Ford Lincoln Centre Ltd. is expanding its service department and is currently seeking experienced Automotive Technicians to join our team. As an Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various vehicles. This is a hands-on role that requires strong mechanical knowledge and excellent customer service skills.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine automotive maintenance tasks
- Diagnose and repair vehicle issues using diagnostic tools and schematics
- Conduct inspections and test drives to identify potential problems
- Repair or replace faulty components
- Assemble and disassemble vehicle parts as needed
- Maintain accurate records of all repairs and services performed
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer concerns and explaining repairs in a clear manner
Skills:
- Strong mechanical knowledge and experience working as an Automotive Technician or Mechanic
- 310S certified required
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting schematics and technical manuals
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks
- Excellent problem-solving skills to diagnose complex vehicle issues
- Knowledge of automotive systems, including electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical components
- Experience working in a dealership or automotive repair shop is preferred
- Ability to use hand tools and power tools effectively
