Overview
Create Compounding Pharmacy is leading compounding pharmacy group and our facilities are fully compliant with the NAPRA guidelines. We offer sterile, non-sterile and hazardous compounding. We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Pharmacy Assistant (Shipping & Receiving) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our logistics operations, ensuring efficient warehouse distribution and supply chain management. This position requires a strong understanding of logistics processes, demand planning, and the ability to work collaboratively within a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Processing payments
- Packaging deliveries according to handling requirements and storage conditions
- Sending deliveries through various companies
- Managing delivery inquiries and communicating with pharmacy staff, customers, and suppliers
- Collaborates with pharmacy staff, customers, and third-party logistics partners to resolve issues and provide excellent customer service
- Reviews all prescriptions and orders and communicates any discrepancies or errors to the appropriate department for resolution
- Data entry and maintaining delivery records
- Clean the workstation after work
Skills
- Previous hospital or pharmacy experience is an asset
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and medication administration procedures
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy
- Familiarity with pharmacy software systems is a plus
- Familiarity with shipping and receiving processes is an asset
