We are looking for machine operators in our food manufacturing plant. Previous machine operations experience an asset, such as HTST (High-Temperature Short-Time), CNC (Computer Numerical Control).
Rotating shifts - day, afternoon and nights (5am – 1pm; 1pm – 9pm; 9pm – 5am). Weekend and Holiday work - NOT NEGOTIABLE
Must be comfortable working at heights.
This position will operate the HTST machine in the cheese-making area and perform milk receiving functions.
The starting hourly pay range for the role is $22.76-$24.82 based on experience and qualifications. Plus, bonus, comprehensive benefits, retirement savings plan, paid vacation, and other perks and opportunities.
Key responsibilities:
· Care for HTST units and associated equipment, such as silos, tanks and OSTs.
· Properly set up, sanitize / CIP (Clean-in-Place) and COP (Clean-out-of-Place), maintain, operate and clean equipment
· Monitor product for efficiencies (i.e. composition, Quantity)
· Assist in preparation of product mixes (batching production runs / allocation of silos)
· Operate automated processing equipment, including product formulation through ingredient preparation, weight monitoring, mixing and pasteurizing.
· Blend product according to formulations and complete necessary documentation.
· Monitor related inventories to equipment (essential and spare parts, etc.).
· Accurately prepare assigned paperwork (daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly assignments).
· Conduct quarterly preventative maintenance (PM) and cleaning (on weekend).
· Monitor and perform routine checks of systems to ensure lines are running smoothly.
· Cross train to learn how to use equipment and machinery in various areas of the plant (Milk Receiving).
· Provide relief coverage for other machine operators/plant helpers.
· Work with your personal safety and the safety of your coworkers, customers and plant visitors in mind.
· Food Safety & Quality responsibility as outlined in SOPs & other training materials provided.
· Attend prescribed courses and training as required.

· Mathematical competency and reasoning ability.
· Ability to be flexible in terms of shift work and perform other duties as required.
· Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
· Good written and verbal communication skills.
· Mechanical aptitude and solid troubleshooting abilities
