Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating a variety of heavy machinery to support earthwork projects, site development, and construction activities. Your expertise will help ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. Responsibilities
- Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, bulldozers, loaders, and graders with precision and safety awareness
- Conduct routine inspections on machinery to ensure optimal performance
- Assist with site preparation, grading, excavation, and material handling tasks
- Follow all safety protocols and company policies to maintain a secure work environment
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate equipment usage and project timelines
- Maintain accurate records of equipment usage and inspections.
Qualifications
- Proven experience operating heavy equipment in construction or earthmoving environments
- Valid certification in heavy equipment operation (e.g., excavator, bulldozer) is considered an asset.
- Strong understanding of safety standards related to heavy equipment use
- Valid driver’s license with commercial driving endorsement preferred
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
