Job Summary
Join our dynamic team as a Gas Station Attendant, where you will be the friendly face and efficient operator at our fueling station. You will handle transactions, assist customers with their needs, and promote additional products and services to enhance their experience. Duties
- Greet customers warmly and provide excellent customer service throughout their visit
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system accurately to process fuel and retail transactions
- Handle cash, credit card payments, and perform cash handling duties with integrity and precision
- Assist customers with product inquiries, offering helpful suggestions and upselling additional items such as snacks, beverages, or car accessories
- Maintain cleanliness of the fueling area, convenience store, and surrounding premises to ensure safety and hygiene standards are met
- Conduct product demos or showcase promotional items to encourage sales and enhance customer engagement
- Monitor fuel levels and report any maintenance or safety issues promptly to management
Skills
- Multilingual abilities are highly valued to serve a diverse customer base effectively
- Strong communication skills for clear interactions with customers and team members
- Experience in retail sales, cashiering, or customer service roles with a focus on sales techniques such as upselling
- Technical sales experience or familiarity with product demos is a plus for promoting store offerings
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately and managing inventory counts
- Excellent organizational skills to keep the work area tidy and stock well-organized
- Time management skills to efficiently handle busy periods while maintaining quality service
- Phone etiquette for professional communication when assisting customers remotely or over the phone
