YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
As a member of the Legal Department, reporting to the Product Safety Manager, your main tasks will be to:
Partner with development teams for product safety review of new products or revisions to existing products including revision of warning labels, operator’s guides and other safety materials;
Collaborate to prevent issue reoccurrence in future products;
Train appropriate people related to product safety guidance, mentoring and group training;
Participate in safety subcommittees;
Assist in the investigation of complaints received trough regulators and on litigation matters.
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
Commitment and passion for product safety;
BS Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent with a minimum of 5 years of related experience
Knowledge of product safety processes; Experience conducting Hazard Analysis and Risk Assessments (HARA), Design Failure Mode Effects Analysis (DFMEA), Fault Tree Analysis (FTA)
Independently driven to make their own opinions;
Ability to be assertive and defend opinions but in a diplomatic manner;
Experience dealing with uncertainty and resolving conflicts;
Ability to lead by influence.
