We are seeking a skilled Pipefitter to join our team. As a Pipefitter, you will be responsible for installing, assembling, and repairing B31.3 piping . You will work closely with other tradespeople and follow blueprints and schematics to ensure accurate installation. Ideally, the candidate will also possess their Gas Fitter accreditation as well. Experience in the compressed gas industry an asset.
Responsibilities:
- Install and assemble piping systems according to blueprints and schematics
- Fabricate pipe sections by cutting, bevelling and threading / tacking of pipe
- Plumb pipes to ensure proper alignment and connection
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area
Skills:
- Proficient in welding / threading techniques and equipment
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
- Experience fabricating pipe sections
- Strong plumbing skills for proper alignment and connection
- Familiarity with hand tools used in pipefitting
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
