Job Overview
Curious Café is looking for a friendly, energetic, and reliable Server to join our team. We are a busy restaurant downtown in Kelowna, known for great food, craft beer, and exceptional customer service.
The ideal candidate enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, has a positive attitude, and is passionate about creating memorable guest experiences.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Take food and beverage orders accurately
- Serve food and drinks efficiently
- Provide menu and beverage recommendations
- Process payments and handle cash and POS transactions
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas
- Work collaboratively with kitchen and bar staff
- Ensure guests receive excellent service throughout their visit
Qualifications
- Previous serving experience preferred
- Serving It Right certification required (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
