As part of our continued growth, we are looking for an IT Technician to join our IT department.
ABOUT THE POSITION
We are looking for an IT Technician to join our team and provide day-to-day technical support to our employees while maintaining the reliability, availability and security of our IT infrastructure.
The successful candidate will play an important role in supporting our manufacturing operations and ensuring that our IT systems effectively meet the needs of the business.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide technical support to employees and troubleshoot IT issues.
- Install, configure and maintain computers, printers and other IT equipment.
- Manage user accounts, Active Directory and Group Policy.
- Support network infrastructure, servers and IT equipment.
- Provide support for SAP Business One, SQL and EDI.
- Monitor backups, system updates and maintenance activities.
- Support cybersecurity initiatives and user access management.
- Provide IT support for systems and equipment used in manufacturing operations.
- Coordinate with external IT providers and consultants.
- Participate in IT infrastructure improvement and technology projects.
- Maintain technical documentation, procedures and system configurations.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
- College diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar position.
- Manufacturing experience is an asset.
- Good knowledge of Windows, Microsoft 365, Active Directory and networking.
- Knowledge of SQL.
- Experience with SAP Business One is a strong asset.
- Knowledge of EDI, virtualization and cybersecurity is an asset.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Self-motivated, organized and customer-service oriented.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and respond quickly to IT issues affecting manufacturing operations.

Pay: From $74,000.00 per year
