Moving Labourer (with working at heights) – Temporary
Our client is currently working on an active construction site in BARRIE. They require some strong employees to assist in moving materials from the ground, up to another floor. This requires a Working at Heights Certification – if you do not have that, please do not apply for this position.
What You Will Be Doing as a Moving Labourer:
- Moving materials from the ground floor to the 7th floor by hand, or with pump jacks/dollies.
- Operating a hoist when necessary.
- Follow health and safety guidelines at all job sites
- Maintain clear communication with supervisors, as well as with colleagues
Load and unload building materials and equipment
- Use of hand tools may be required
- Other duties as required
What You Should Have, as a Moving Labourer:
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar role
- Valid Working at Heights Certification
- Commitment to doing quality work while putting safety first
- CSA Approved Safety shoes and hard hat and reflective vest and gloves
In Return, You Will Receive:
- $19.00 per hour (dependent on site and experience)
- Paid daily
- Opportunity to be hired permanently
- 4% vacation pay accrued
The Shift You Will be Working is:
- Day shift
- 7:00am to 3:00pm
