Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Food Truck Cook to join our dynamic team. Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and quality standards
- Serve food efficiently and courteously to customers at the food truck window
- Handle food with proper safety and sanitation procedures, adhering to all food safety regulations
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, assembling, and portioning ingredients
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including equipment, utensils, and work surfaces
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to ensure smooth operation
- Ensure all food is cooked to proper temperatures and presented attractively
- Follow all health and safety guidelines related to food handling and storage
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments preferred
- Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and meal assembly
- Strong understanding of food safety standards and proper handling procedures
- Excellent serving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced outdoor setting
- Experience with food industry operations is a plus
- Good organizational skills with attention to detail in meal preparation and presentation
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends or holidays if needed
