400 Taché Ltd. is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Junior Day Porter to join our team at 400 Taché Avenue. Reporting to the Director of Commercial Property Management and Assistant Property Manager, Commercial, you will play a key role in maintaining the appearance, cleanliness, safety, and day-to-day operations of our property and parking facilities.

Monday to Friday 7:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
What You'll Do
Parking Operations & Customer Service
- Monitor parking lot activity and help maintain safe traffic flow.
- Direct vehicles and pedestrians as required.
- Provide friendly, professional assistance to customers with parking-related inquiries.
- Conduct regular parking lot patrols and issue parking reminders or notices when necessary.
- Assist with parking enforcement to ensure compliance with site regulations.
- Provide coverage for parking attendants during breaks, including operating the parking booth.
- Communicate with the management office regarding daily operations, towing requirements, incidents, and emergencies.
Building & Site Maintenance
- Maintain cleanliness of lobby areas, entrances, and common spaces through sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, and general upkeep.
- Dust, wipe, and polish surfaces to maintain a professional appearance.
- Respond promptly to spills and other cleaning requests.
- Empty waste receptacles as required.
- Perform outdoor maintenance including litter collection and seasonal snow and ice control (shoveling and salting).
- Clean and sanitize public washrooms when required.
- Assist with recycling collection and removal as needed.
- Support additional property maintenance duties as assigned.
What We're Looking For
Qualifications
- Previous janitorial, custodial, or commercial cleaning experience is an asset.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable, self-motivated, and detail oriented.
- Comfortable working outdoors for extended periods in all weather conditions.
- Ability to remain calm and professional when dealing with difficult situations and effectively de-escalate concerns.
- Physically capable of standing, walking, bending, and performing repetitive cleaning tasks throughout the day.
- Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Successful completion of a criminal record check.
- Demonstrated respect for and ability to work effectively with people from diverse backgrounds and experiences.
Working Conditions
- Approximately 50% of the role is performed outdoors in varying weather conditions throughout the year.
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, lifting, and general physical activity.
- Use of cleaning products and equipment while following established health and safety procedures.
