Vivo Cura Health is a collaborative musculoskeletal (MSK) and pain care clinic focused on helping patients regain mobility, function, and quality of life. Our team includes physicians, physiotherapists, and allied health professionals working together in a dynamic clinical environment.
We are currently seeking a full-time Medical Office Assistant who thrives in a busy healthcare setting and takes pride in delivering an outstanding patient experience. This role is central to the daily flow of the clinic and requires someone organized, proactive, and confident managing both administrative and patient-facing responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome patients and serve as a professional, friendly first point of contact (in person and by phone).
- Coordinate and schedule appointments efficiently while managing changes and follow-ups.
- Guide patients through intake processes and ensure all required documentation is complete.
- Communicate with referring providers and other members of the care team to support coordinated treatment.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records within the clinic’s electronic medical record (EMR) system (Accuro).
- Process billing for Alberta Health, WCB, private-pay services, and third-party insurers with precision.
- Support clinicians with patient flow and assist when administrative help is needed during clinic hours.
- Track reports and documentation to ensure completion and timely distribution.
- Provide cross-coverage for other administrative roles and contribute to overall clinic operations.
- Adhere to privacy standards and all internal policies and procedures.

- Previous experience in a medical reception or healthcare administrative role.
- Familiarity with EMR platforms; experience with Accuro is considered an asset.
- Working knowledge of scheduling systems, intake processes, and medical billing procedures.
- A team-oriented approach and a commitment to supporting a multidisciplinary environment.
Qualifications
- Completion of a Medical Office Assistant program, Health Care Administration certificate, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least two years of experience in a healthcare office setting is preferred.
- Experience within MSK, sports medicine, or pain-focused clinics is an advantage.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office and medical software systems.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
