We are seeking a Pharmacy Assistant to join our growing pharmacy team. The Pharmacy assistant will assist in day to day activities of the pharmacy as follows.
- Experience working with Kroll is an asset.
- Minimum 1 year of experience required.
- Performs technical acts of dispensing.
- Communicate with pharmacists and patients for prescription refill requests with adhering to all applicable laws and regulations.
- Establishes and maintains patient profiles, and scans and files patient records.
- Contacts prescribers when needed.
- Answers phones and checks voicemail messages.
- Provides customer assistance with merchandise on the sales floor and at the cash register.
- Receives and matches orders with invoices and ensures it is received in good condition, and then are stored or stocked on shelves appropriately.
- Performs inventory-related tasks.
- Uses wholesaler websites for various functions.
- Maintains store standards and conditions and may be assigned to clean dispensary, and clean shelves as required.
- Performs other duties as assigned by the Pharmacy Manager or Pharmacists.

Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
