About the Role
In our store, one team member is often responsible for both the customer conversation and the basic vehicle service. This helps create a better customer experience because the person speaking with the customer also understands what was checked on the vehicle.
You will greet customers, complete basic vehicle checks, explain findings clearly, recommend appropriate maintenance services, and help complete the approved work.
Service recommendations are based on OEM manufacturer maintenance guidelines, available CARFAX service history or vehicle information, findings from our vehicle inspection, and the vehicle’s condition, mileage, and service history.
What You’ll Do

- Listen to customer needs and understand what they came in for.
- Perform basic vehicle checks, including fluids, filters, tires, lights, wipers, and other maintenance items.

- Explain inspection findings in clear and simple language.
- Recommend maintenance services that are due, overdue, or worth planning for.
- Explain what is urgent, what can wait, and why.
- Present service options and pricing clearly before work is completed.
- Get customer approval before performing additional services.
- Perform or assist with oil changes, filter replacements, fluid services, tire checks, and other basic maintenance services after training.
- Keep accurate records of services completed and recommendations made.
- Work safely in a fast-paced team environment.
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and professional workplace.
- Build customer trust through honesty, consistency, and quality service.
What Success Looks Like
