We are in search for a Service Manager - Dock and Door to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a collaborative and strategic leader to oversee service and operational functions across the organization while playing a key role in driving operational excellence, customer satisfaction, employee engagement, and business growth.
Reporting to the President & CEO, the Service Manager will be responsible for the safe, efficient, and financially responsible operation of the service function. The successful candidate will bring strong business acumen, operational understanding, and a people-first leadership approach to support continuous improvement across service delivery, customer relationships, team performance, and business operations.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Establish strategic goals and priorities by analyzing business, financial, service, and operational information.
- Oversee the safe, efficient, and effective operation of service and operational functions.
- Ensure teams have the appropriate people, equipment, and resources to consistently meet or exceed customer expectations.
- Make financially responsible business decisions in alignment with organizational policies and objectives.
- Lead regular operational and improvement meetings focused on measurable outcomes and continuous improvement.
- Identify and remove roadblocks to ensure key initiatives are completed effectively and on time.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with current and prospective customers.
- Identify opportunities to strengthen customer relationships and support business growth.
- Motivate and engage employees by setting clear expectations, providing appropriate support and autonomy, and maintaining consistent communication.
- Ensure individual responsibilities and priorities are aligned with broader organizational goals.
- Partner with HR and leadership on recruitment, onboarding, training, coaching, performance management, and employee relations.
- Foster a strong culture of safety and ensure compliance with applicable legislation, policies, and best practices.
- Manage budgets, resources, and operational priorities to maximize efficiency and value.
- Maintain effective communication between departments, teams, and leadership.
- Collaborate across the organization to ensure customers receive a consistent and high-quality experience.
- Maintain high standards of service quality and customer satisfaction by identifying issues, implementing solutions, and recommending process improvements.
- Support teams in identifying service challenges, troubleshooting issues, and implementing effective corrective actions.
- Communicate regularly with leadership and key stakeholders regarding operational performance, opportunities, and challenges.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement across people, processes, customer service, and overall business performance.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $80,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
