Purpose of Role: To drive tractor trailer unit for the purpose of delivering calcium chloride to customer locations and field storage locations throughout Western Canada.
Operate tractor trailer unit to deliver product to customers and field storage tanks.
Perform pre and post-trip on truck and trailer.
Accurate completion of E-Log, adhering to Federal Hours of Service.
Loading and unloading product.
Represent the company to the customer and the general public in a professional manner.
Accurate way-bill recording through TMW.
Completion of timesheets, fuel envelopes and mileage envelopes.
Maintain a clean and safe work place.
Complete daily job hazard assessments.
Adhere and promote Tiger’s Health, Safety and Environmental policies and procedures.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS, WORK EXPERIENCE, SKILLS
Valid Class 1 driver’s license.
Minimum 3 years driving experience.
Clean driver’s abstract.
Geographic knowledge of Western Canada.
Liquid bulk hauling, off road driving, mountain driving, TMW program.
Experience working on CN Rail property will be considered an asset.
Ability to put tire chains on.
Knowledge of Federal Hours of Service.
Knowledge of running hydraulic pumps.
Ability to work in a fast paced environment, meet deadlines, and adapt to change quickly.
Team player with the ability to communicate at an acceptable level with dispatch and customers.

Sitting constant for driving a truck
Walking, occasional short distances at site locations or to perform pre and post-trip inspections.
Lifting – maximum 50 lbs.
Bending, crouching, kneeling, climbing.
Exposure to diverse weather conditions such as wind, heat, cold, rain, and snow. Driving in all weather conditions. Away from home for extended periods. Sleep in a confined space.
