Overview
I am seeking a compassionate and dedicated Part-Time Personal Care Assistant to provide quality support . This is a permanent position from 4:00 - 6:00 pm and then again 8:30 - 10:30 pm., Mondays, Fridays and Saturdays with the possibility of additional hours covering holidays. This role is ideal for someone passionate about caregiving and committed to enhancing the well-being and independence of myself. The position offers permanent hours and the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in my life through personalized care.
Responsibilities
- Assist with preparing dinner (very easy) and feeding me. Getting me ready for bed
- Support medication administration following prescribed schedules and safety protocols
- Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe environment
- Monitor health status and report any changes to family members or healthcare professionals
Qualifications
- Prior experience is wonderful, but I am willing to train the right individual
- Compassionate, patient, and attentive to individual needs
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license are a plus but not required. Because of the hours, I have found that it is much easier if you live in the general vicinity of myself (Greenview)
Pay: $20.00-$21.00 per hour
