Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Automotive PPF (Paint Protection Film) & Window Tint Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in automotive customization, with a focus on applying protective films and window tinting to enhance vehicle appearance and protection. This role requires attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment to deliver high-quality results.
Responsibilities
- Install paint protection film (PPF) on various vehicle surfaces with precision and care
- Apply window tint films according to manufacturer specifications and customer preferences
- Prepare vehicle surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and masking as needed before installation
- Use hand tools and power tools safely to cut, shape, and install films accurately
- Ensure all installations meet quality standards and customer expectations
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including proper disposal of waste materials
- Assist with vehicle inspections and minor repairs related to installation work when necessary
- Follow safety protocols at all times during installation procedures
Skills
- Prior dealership experience or automotive repair background is highly desirable
- Mechanical knowledge and familiarity with automotive systems
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and other installation equipment
- Ability to perform heavy lifting when handling large or bulky materials or vehicles
- Strong attention to detail to ensure flawless application of films and tinting
- Knowledge of automotive aesthetics and customization techniques is a plus
- Mechanic experience or familiarity with automotive maintenance enhances performance in this role
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of PPF/Window Tint installation experience
- Valid Alberta Class 5 Drivers License
- Clean driving record
