The ideal candidate for this position must be familiar with Navien and or the condensing, tankless water heater and boiler industry. Reporting to the Director of Commercial Sales, they are experienced at creating, articulating and presenting high level presentations at the executive level and this person must be a person of integrity. They must also be able to work well in a team environment, collaborating with the Canada Sales Manager within the territory. Essential attributes include excellent communication and interpersonal skills and an ability to multitask and remain focused in high-pressure situations. This person dives into the details while always keeping the big picture in mind. In addition, the candidate must be highly self-motivated, have a positive attitude and be resourceful and enthusiastic about commercial sales and continued growth. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Develop and execute a Commercial focused sales strategy promoting our Tankless water heating and commercial boiler products
Work with Sales Managers, Manufacturer’s Representatives and current distribution to grow Sales through Commercial projects
Promote brand awareness through product training and presentations to Commercial specifiers
Find, identify, and develop Commercial sales opportunities in assigned region
Develop relationships with Commercial projects specifiers, including: architects, engineers, facilities managers, contractors, and other design consultants
Participate in engineering meetings, events, and professional organizations such as ASPE to further develop and maintain working relationships with key commercial firms
Monitor, review and report on all Commercial activity and results
Develop and institute Commercial programs to drive sales, increase brand awareness and change buying behaviors
Manage relationships with Canada Commercial prospects
Assist Commercial Director and marketing with Commercial Marketing plans
Ability to achieve sales goals, training goals, and operate within budget
Territory includes all providences of Canada with a concentration in major metropolitan areas

BS/BA or related degree
Minimum 5 years Commercial Sales Experience
Canada resident preferably near a major metropolitan city, GTA preferred
Technical marketing skills-familiarity with Plumbing and HVAC industry
Relevant product and industry knowledge
Extensive territory travel, up to 70% required
Experience with relevant software applications, MS Office
Ability to work in multi-Cultural environment
Intricate knowledge of Commercial Sales; National and Regional
Complete understanding of the Plumbing Wholesale sales process
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Problem analysis and problem-solving
Formal presentation skills
Meet Timelines
An engineering background, via education or experience
Ability to focus on specifiers
Familiarity with commercial boilers, applications, operations and installation
CAD, Design drawing, REVIT
