Job Description:

  • Minimum 7 years in the audio visual industry (2 in a management position).
  • Extensive knowledge with programming touch panel control systems
  • Enforce Alberta OH&S Act, Regulations & Code
  • Hazard Management Assessments & Tool Box Meetings
  • Ability to diagnose/troubleshoot and resolve various service issues related to integrated AV systems
  • Extensive knowledge and experience with audio-visual systems and product/components
  • Strong knowledge of signal flow, different audio/video signal types, connector types and terminations. Must be able to read and follow AV system schematics and supporting documentation
  • Experience with installation and configuration of wired and wireless network systems
  • Ability to manage expectations with excellent interpersonal skills to interface and anticipate needs of both the client and workers
  • Great communication skills, high ethical and professional standards, and ability to work independently as well as Supervise workers
  • Strong organizational skills, self-disciplined with a strong focus on quality and customer service
  • Assist with research and design on future projects
  • Experience in creating user - training manuals for installed integrated audio visual systems
  • Provide on-site training for installed Audio Visual systems


  • Honesty, positive attitude, reliability and punctuality are imperative.

  • Valid Alberta Driver’s Class 5 License - with clean drivers abstract
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills in the English language
  • Ability to read system schematics and floor plans/blueprints
  • Ability to understand programming systems, interfaces and equipment configuration
  • Must be willing to travel. Some out-of-town clients will involve overnight trips
  • Must be able to work on ladders and scaffolding
  • Must be able to lift and carry at least 50 lbs.
  • Preference will be given to non-smoker


  • Experience with DSP
  • Construction Safety Training System (Alberta Construction Safety Association) – “CSTS-09”
  • Standard First Aid with Level C CPR and AED
  • Elevated Work Platform Certification
