Class 1 Truck Driver – Harvest Season

Job Description
We are seeking a dependable and safety-conscious Class 1 Truck Driver to join our team for the 2026 harvest season. This temporary seasonal position begins August 1 and is expected to last approximately 6–8 weeks.
The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting grain from the field to bins or delivery points while working closely with the harvest crew. Experience operating Super B grain trailers is preferred and will be considered a strong asset.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a Class 1 truck during harvest operations
- Haul grain from combines to on-farm storage or designated delivery locations
- Operate Super B grain trailers, where applicable
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Maintain accurate logbooks and required documentation
- Communicate with harvest equipment operators and farm staff
- Assist with loading, unloading, and other harvest-related tasks as required
- Keep truck and trailer clean and report maintenance concerns promptly
- Follow all provincial transportation regulations and farm safety policies
Qualifications
- Valid Class 1 Driver's Licence
- Clean driver's abstract
- Experience hauling grain is preferred
- Super B grain trailer experience is strongly preferred
- Previous agricultural or harvest experience is an asset
- Mechanically inclined is considered an asset
- Able to work long hours, including evenings and weekends, during peak harvest
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
Schedule
- Seasonal position beginning August 1
- Approximately 6–8 weeks, depending on harvest conditions
- Extended hours during peak harvest as weather permits
Wage
Starting at $30/hour, with higher wages available based on experience, qualifications, and Super B/grain hauling experience.
Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
