About Green 2 Pack Inc
Green 2 Pack Inc is a growing manufacturer of food packaging products located in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, Quebec. We manufacture plastic food containers, paper cups, paper plates, paper bags, take-out packaging and other food packaging products for customers across Canada.
We are looking for a motivated Manufacturing Engineering Apprentice to join our production team. This position is ideal for candidates who are interested in manufacturing engineering, production equipment optimization, and industrial automation. Comprehensive on-the-job training will be provided.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the setup, adjustment, and optimization of production equipment
- Monitor machine performance and production efficiency
- Support production to ensure stable and continuous machine operation
- Troubleshoot equipment and process issues to minimize production downtime
- Assist with commissioning new production equipment
- Optimize machine parameters to improve product quality and productivity
- Work closely with production and quality teams
- Participate in continuous improvement projects
- Maintain production records and technical documentation
- Follow all workplace health and safety procedures
Qualifications
- Diploma or education in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation or a related field is an asset
- Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
- Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and industrial equipment
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment
- Reliable, responsible and team-oriented
- French required
- English is an asset
- Shift work may be required
