- Perform work as described on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance withCompany standards
- Diagnose the cause of vehicle malfunctions and recommend / perform appropriate repair
- Examine vehicle to identify necessary repair or maintenance items that may not be included onthe repair order and communicate to Service Advisor
- Notify the Service Director immediately if additional work is needed, if work outlined on repairorder is not needed or if repairs cannot be completed by the time promised
- Clearly and accurately document all work performed
- Road test vehicles as required or refer to the inspection technician as appropriate
- Attend and successfully complete training as required by the company
- Provide apprentices and colleagues with regular and up-to-date information on technicalmodifications and innovations on vehicle post training
- Provide practical instruction and support for any assigned Apprentice Technician
- Lubricate all moving parts with specified lubricants and conduct regular servicing as instructedand agreed.
- Inspect fluid levels of power steering, transmission, differential, drain and replace as necessary
- Replace air filters and pollen filters as necessary
- Maintain and promote an orderly workspace and ensure your work area and service shop aremaintained with clean working habits and organization.
- Understand and follow all regulations governing disposal of hazardous waste
Logistical responsibilities
- Maintain the order and cleanliness of work areas, be accountable for all company owned tools
- Meet all requirements of rules governing automobile repair and consumer protection
Education : High school with red seal in automotive or equivalent
Language : english fluent
Experience : 3 years minimum
Working hours from : 08:30 am to 5:00 pm
Number of hours / week : 40
