The Point Click Care Specialist reporting to the Director of Health Informatics is to ensure the Point Click Care application is meeting the business needs and serves as the subject matter expert to ensure it is performing as expected for day-to-day operations, initiatives or projects that improve application functionality and subsequent high business value.
Point Click Care/Application Support– responsible for the day to day incident and services requests related to the applications assigned, working with the business SME or vendor as Develop and provide regularly orientation and training
Change Management– manages changes to the applications assigned by properly entering them in the change management system and managing the change through its lifecycle
Projects– works on all projects that impact assigned
Audit– responsible for audit compliance for assigned applications, reporting to Quality and Operations as required
Vendor Management– manages vendors to ensuring they comply with our vendor management & security
Application Security– manages security roles for application assigned, including maintaining appropriate documentation
Environment Management– manages the production, development, test and project environments for applications assigned
Innovation– works with IT leadership to identify and evaluate innovative ideas. Is a member of relevant network industry based groups and attends appropriate conferences, webinars
5+ years related experience in directly related position; specifically experience with the following is an asset:
Experience with Yardi, Comvida, Ultipro and Point Click Care or Electronic Health Record applications
Experience with other enterprise financial (AP, AR, GL, Billing etc.), BI/analytics (including cubes)
Report writing experience
Knowledge of ETL and interfaces
Intermediate or higher knowledge of Excel and other Microsoft Office Applications
Knowledge of security best practices
Experience with IT change management and ITSM systems (e.g. Cherwell)
Knowledge of COBIT, Bill 198\SOX, PHIPA, PIPEDA, ITIL or other control frameworks
Knowledge of Portfolio and Project Management (PPM) tools
Project Management Body of Knowledge
Knowledge of IT Infrastructure and applications
Experience with remote support and remote support tools such as Microsoft SCCM
Participate as a strong, collaborative team player
Ability to explain technical jargon in simplified terms
Ability to track management multiple parallel activities
Excellent customer service, presentation, project management, problem solving, training\coaching, communication and conflict resolution skills
Ability to innovate and learn new technologies quickly
Excellent organization skills, proven analytical abilities and decision making capabilities
Must have the ability to work under tight deadlines and changing priorities
