Assemble and install custom automation equipment, machinery, tooling, and mechanical systems according to engineering drawings and specifications.
Read and interpret mechanical drawings, blueprints, and assembly instructions.
Assemble machine frames, conveyors, fixtures, tooling, and mechanical subassemblies.
Install and connect mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic components.
Inspect and verify components prior to assembly to ensure quality and accuracy.
Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, pneumatic, and assembly-related issues during equipment build and testing.
Perform equipment testing, final adjustments, and machine commissioning to ensure proper operation.
Use measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to verify specifications and tolerances.
Work closely with Engineering and Manufacturing teams to support project completion.
Assist with machine modifications and continuous improvement initiatives.
Support equipment installation and start-up activities at customer sites as required.
